The positive impact from Philippine President’s tax warning on miners, which shore up LME nickel last week, is expected to be waning. A weak dollar, on the other hand, will support base metals.

China Total Nickel Ore Port Inventories Estimated to Grow, SMM Reports

SMM expects nickel to hover at highs this week, with LME nickel at $9,900-10,200 per tonne.
