SHANGHAI, Apr. 13 (SMM) – SHFE 1606 aluminum opened higher at RMB 11,835/mt overnight and increased to RMB 12,055/mt with longs gathering strength, to close at RMB 11,975/mt.
SHFE 1606 aluminum started at RMB 11,970/mt on Wednesday and climbed higher to RMB 12,075/mt with growing longs. But in the afternoon business, the contract dived to RMB 11,915/mt and ended at RMB 11,945/mt, a gain of RMB 155/mt. Trading volumes were up 186,000 to 274,114 lots with positions up 7,776.
SHFE 1606 aluminum may challenge RMB 12,000/mt tonight.
