SHANGHAI, Dec. 18 (SMM) –SHFE 1601 tin opened at RMB 92,320/mt on Friday. The most active contract drifted higher on short-covering, and then moved around RMB 92,400/mt for most of the day. Finally, the contract ended up RMB 7,640/mt or 8.83% at RMB 94,160/mt. Trading volumes were up 1,242 lots to 3,668 lots, and positions were down 2 to 3,760.
