SHANGHAI, Dec. 4 (SMM) - The average prices of Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 fell further by nearly 100 yuan in the week ending December 4, to 13,640-13,950 yuan per tonne and 13,940-14,250 yuan per tonne, respectively, according to SMM.
Some downstream buyers purchased at lower prices as spot zinc prices dropped below 13,000 yuan per tonne and orders from auto parts and since toy sectors improved some. Die-cast zinc alloy plants, however, were mostly reticent in stockpiling and busy collecting payments, SMM understands.
