SHANGHAI, Oct. 8 (SMM) – One domestic stainless steel mill in north China announced its procurement price for high-grade NPI in October, Shanghai Metals Market learns.
The purchase price is set at 740 yuan per mtu (price to factory, including tax) in October, flat at September’s level. But, the procurement price for regular large suppliers is up by 15 yuan per mtu from base price, down from September’s 20 yuan rise, SMM understands.
The company plans to purchase 80,000 tonnes of high-grade NPI in October, down 20,000 tonnes from September’s.
