SHFE 1601 nickel opened lower at RMB 77,790/mt during Monday evening session and then lurched down, to close at RMB 77,400/mt.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 22 (SMM) – SHFE 1601 nickel opened lower at RMB 77,790/mt during Monday evening session and then lurched down, to close at RMB 77,400/mt.

On Tuesday, SHFE nickel opened at RMB 77,400/mt and fell back. Later, the contract advanced to RMB 77,790/mt after finding support at moving average, to end at RMB

77,090/mt, slipping 1.31%. Trading volumes fell 189,000 to 1.25 million lots but positions grew 586 to 294,000.
