Published: Feb 13, 2026 17:26
The State Administration for Market Regulation has issued the "Guidelines for Price Compliance in the Automotive Industry" to regulate the phenomenon of "involution-style" competition. The guidelines address prominent issues such as "paid unlocking" and clearly define price compliance standards for every stage, from vehicle manufacturing to parts production, and from pricing strategies to sales practices. Additionally, specific and targeted regulatory requirements have been established for violations in new auto sales, including failure to display prices as required and deceptive sales promotions.
