In recent proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan released by multiple regions, emerging industries and future industries have become key focuses for major economic provinces. Shandong has proposed implementing a future industry leadership plan to establish a full-chain support system from technology discovery to industrial cultivation. Guangdong has clarified that it will comprehensively promote mutual reinforcement between industry and science and technology, coordinating efforts to optimize and upgrade traditional industries, cultivate and strengthen emerging industries, and prospectively layout future industries.
