【SMM Flash News】 Indonesia Slashes 2026 Nickel Quotas to 260M–270M Tonnes, Signaling Major Supply Tightening

Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has released the 2026 Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) for the nickel sector. Director General Tri Winarno stated to the media on Tuesday (10th February) that the government targeted a production quota ranging between 260 million and 270 million tonnes for the year.
