On June 2, FinDreams Battery and Meishan Xingmei Investment Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. FinDreams Battery is a power battery subsidiary of BYD Group, focusing on battery research, development, and production for new energy vehicles and energy storage sectors. Recently, FinDreams Battery also appeared at the CIBF 2026 exhibition, showcasing innovative technologies such as the second-generation blade battery, attracting widespread attention from industry peers both domestically and internationally. This strategic cooperation agreement will focus on deepening collaboration in areas such as the joint construction of a heavy-duty truck fast-charging network, zero-carbon park development, power battery supporting, and the development of hard carbon anode resources.

Zeekr Korea Unveils Its First New Model, the 7X

Zeekr Korea unveiled the premium midsize electric SUV “7X” in South Korea and will begin full-scale sales in the second half of this year. In South Korea, the model will be offered in three trims: Pro, Max and Ultra. The Pro trim is equipped with Zeekr’s self-developed 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) “Golden Battery.” The Max and Ultra trims are equipped with 100 kWh high-performance nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) batteries supplied by CATL. The Pro and Max trims each feature a single electric motor, delivering a maximum output of 421 hp and maximum torque of 45 kgf·m. Their certified driving ranges are 375 km and 483 km, respectively. The Ultra trim is an all-wheel-drive (AWD) model based on a dual-motor system, with motors mounted on the front and rear axles. It delivers up to 645 hp and maximum torque of 72.4 kgf·m, with a maximum driving range of 440 km.

Recently, the Pingjiang County Ecological Environment Bureau in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, issued an approval notice for the "Environmental Impact Report Form of the Annual 10,000-Ton Lithium-Ion Battery Anode Material (Phase II) Project of Hunan Morui New Energy Technology Co., Ltd." The project is located at Building No. 8, South Side of Yingbin Road, Wushi Section, Pingjiang High-tech Industrial Park, Wushi Town, Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. The project covers a total area of 3,720 square meters. The total investment for the project is 50 million yuan, of which environmental protection investment accounts for 3.86 million yuan, representing 7.72% of the total investment.
