Leap Motor Launches D19 with Die-Casting & CTC Tech for Cost Reduction

[SMM Express] According to reports, on April 16, Leap Motor D19 was officially launched. In terms of manufacturing, the D19 adopted integrated front and rear aluminum die-cast floor panels produced by a 9,200 mt large die-casting machine, significantly reducing the number of parts and assembly processes, effectively lowering the per-vehicle cost. Meanwhile, the CTC battery-chassis integration technology was adopted, eliminating the top cover structure of traditional battery packs, which both improved space utilization rate and reduced material costs.
