According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's copper enamelled wire exports in March 2026 totaled 11,502.65 mt, down 8.04% YoY but up 12.33% MoM. From January to March 2026, China's cumulative copper enamelled wire exports reached 33,794.95 mt, up 5.48% YoY. (HS code 85441100)

In March 2026, China's copper enamelled wire products were exported to 121 countries and regions. Exports pulled back YoY, mainly due to the shifted timing of Chinese New Year and a high base in the same period last year, representing a periodic fluctuation, with the industry's export resilience remaining intact. In terms of export market distribution, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, and South Korea remained firmly in the top four markets, with combined exports accounting for approximately 42%. Among them, exports to Vietnam were up 11.1% YoY, while Japan, Thailand, and South Korea experienced varying degrees of pullback. In addition, exports to Turkey remained impressive, with March exports reaching 534 mt, up 249.2% YoY. Exports to markets such as the US and Mexico saw notable YoY declines, dragging down overall export performance. From a market structure perspective, exports to Vietnam, Turkey, and Egypt maintained relatively fast growth, effectively offsetting the volume declines in the US and some traditional Southeast Asian markets. The overall export landscape continued to diverge, yet export performance sustained a high level of prosperity.
