Indonesia's New Policy Drives Nickel Prices Up, Smelters Firm on Quotes Amid Rising Demand

[SMM Nickel Flash] April 15, supply side, Indonesia's new policy was introduced, driving upstream smelters to hold prices firm more decisively, with upstream players continuing to raise quotes. Meanwhile, nickel prices broke through the 140,000 mark, further driving suppliers to raise prices. Demand side, steel mill quotes also saw some upward movement, and traders also saw successive transactions, jointly pushing up the price center. Overall, supported by multiple factors, high-grade NPI prices continued to rise.
