[SMM Tin Express: Despite Policy Headwinds, US Battery Market to Continue Growing]

A US solar industry association projects that the energy storage market will grow by 21% this year, as demand for batteries outpaces policy headwinds. According to a report by the Solar Energy Industries Association and market research firm Benchmark Mineral Intelligence Ltd., battery deployments will increase to 70 gigawatt-hours by 2026, compared to 58 gigawatt-hours in 2025. The report states that the market size is expected to exceed 110 gigawatt-hours by 2030.

[SMM Tin Express: SHFE Tin Warrants Increase by 1,428 mt on February 24 Compared to Previous Trading Day]

On February 24, SHFE tin futures warrants recorded 11,781 mt, an increase of 1,428 mt from the previous trading day, representing a growth of 13.79%. By region, inventory in Shanghai was 4,354 mt (up 385 mt), Guangdong 7,253 mt (up 1,043 mt), and Jiangsu 174 mt (unchanged). Over the past month, SHFE tin futures warrants have accumulated an increase of 3,199 mt.
