On the morning of December 18th, at the casting and rolling mill of the new energy battery aluminum foil billet project of Danjiang Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd.'s Danfa Aluminum Materials Co., Ltd., the No. 12 casting and rolling mill successfully started up in one go, completing the plate erection operation smoothly, marking the full-line commissioning of the company's new energy battery aluminum foil billet project. At 9:38 a.m., the casting and rolling mill was filled with heat. After a series of preparatory work, including equipment linkage debugging and furnace drying of the melting and holding furnace and online refining unit, the fiery red aluminum liquid flowed sequentially through the online refining unit, plate filter box and moving flow channel, and was precisely injected into the front box, and then evenly guided into the rolling mill rolls through the casting nozzle for rolling. Moments later, a roll of silver-bright battery aluminum foil with specifications of 7.0×1580mm was successfully fed into the coiler by the conveying device, and the subsequent quality debugging work was completed simultaneously. Since the trial production of No. 1 casting and rolling mill on August 20, 2024, Danfa Aluminum Company has actively balanced the overlapping of engineering construction and production organization, and coordinated the work of the two production lines.

China's AC Production and Sales Decline in May 2026, Domestic Market Hit Hard

ChinaIOL monitoring data shows that in May 2026, China's household air conditioner production was 18.74 million units, down 10.0% YoY; sales were 19.58 million units, down 11.1% YoY; of which exports were 7.58 million units, down 4.2% YoY; and domestic sales were 12.00 million units, down 15.0% YoY.
