5,000T Semi-Solid Die-Casting Equipment Installed at Bishan Base, Marking Chenzhi Lightweight's Entry into Magnesium Alloy Field

Recently (October 17), the 5,000T semi-solid die-casting equipment jointly developed by Chenzhi (Chongqing) Lightweight Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Chenzhi Lightweight"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Changan Automobile Group, and L.K. Group, was officially installed at the Bishan base, and an inauguration ceremony was held. Huang Jun, Director of the Chenzhi Lightweight R&D Center, Liu Saijun, Deputy General Manager of the Bishan Base, and Li Weizhong, General Manager of Chongqing L.K. Machinery Co., Ltd., attended the event, along with experts from cooperative partners such as Changan Automobile and Tsingshan Industry.

This equipment integrates advanced TPI (i.e., "Thixotropic Molding Technology for Magnesium Alloy Semi-Solid") technology, enabling flexible switching between magnesium alloy and aluminum alloy die-casting production to meet the flexible manufacturing needs of diverse material products. It also marks the company's official entry into the new field of magnesium alloy products, further expanding its lightweight strategic layout.
