On August 25, 2025, Canada's Vox Royalty Corp. announced the acquisition of a 1.5% gross revenue royalty on the Wyloo North iron ore project in Western Australia for AUD $1.5 million. The royalty covers the first 15 million tonnes of iron ore production from the deposit, which is operated by Fortescue Metals Group.
The Wyloo North deposit is a 7-kilometer-long satellite ore body located within 30 kilometers of the Eliwana iron ore operations. The deposit has a high iron grade of 59.6%, which is higher than the average iron grade of 56.8% in the Greater Western Hub region. The mineralized zone extends over 7 kilometers in the central area of the project and further extends in the western and eastern regions, with thickness up to 95 meters.
