Xinjiang Approves Notice to Boost Wind, Solar Projects, Attracting Social Capital

Recently, the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region approved a "Notice" jointly issued by the Autonomous Region's Development and Reform Commission and the State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. The "Notice" clarifies that wind power and photovoltaic projects should be filed with the local prefecture, autonomous prefecture, or municipality, aiming to further stimulate social capital to participate in the development of new energy in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and accelerate the expansion of new energy scale.
