Guangxi Withdraws 3,838.7 MW of New Energy Projects Due to Non-Compliance or Delay

The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Energy Bureau issued the "Notice on Adjusting the Construction Scale and Assessment Requirements of Some New Energy Projects," which indicated that by the end of June 2024, due to other irresistible factors, some projects in Guangxi had not yet commenced or were not eligible for further implementation, with an installed capacity reaching 4,703.5 megawatts. To accelerate the high-quality development of new energy in Guangxi and create space for new energy projects, the construction indicators of projects that cannot continue to be built will be withdrawn, with a total withdrawn scale of approximately 3,838.7 megawatts. This includes nine wind power projects, with a withdrawn scale of approximately 668.4 megawatts, and 31 photovoltaic projects, with a withdrawn scale of 3,170.3 megawatts.
