According to the SMM survey, as of Thursday (June 6), the total zinc ingot inventory in seven regions surveyed by SMM was 199,700 mt, a decrease of 9,700 mt compared to May 30, and a decrease of 6,000 mt compared to June 3. Inventory in Shanghai saw a slight decrease, with normal warehouse arrivals during the week. Downstream buyers purchased at low prices. Inventory in Guangdong decreased mainly due to fewer warehouse arrivals during the week and downstream buyers purchasing at low prices. Inventory in Tianjin saw a larger decrease. A higher proportion of pickups by traders during the week reduced warehouse arrivals, and downstream buyers purchased at low prices. Overall, the original three regions saw an inventory decrease of 5,800 mt.
