Today's SMM #1 lead average price was flat compared to yesterday at 18,600 yuan/mt. Secondary refined lead sellers quoted discounts of around 50 yuan/mt ex-factory against the SMM #1 lead average price, with some sources available with discounts of 0 yuan/mt; ex-factory prices excluding tax were quoted at 17,550-17,700 yuan/mt.

Downstream battery manufacturers were not actively purchasing. Some small and medium-sized battery makers indicated that their lead ingot inventory could last until next week, and they could temporarily refrain from purchasing lead ingots under small orders. Secondary lead smelters reported that today's transaction volume was weak, with an average of several hundred tons.
