Xiamen Tungsten's 70,000-ton Positive Electrode Materials Project Reaches Topping-Out Stage

【Xiamen Tungsten's new energy project with an annual output of 70,000 tons of positive electrode materials reaches the topping-out stage】On April 11th, the main structure of the 70,000-ton lithium-ion battery positive electrode material project (CD workshop) in Ningde was successfully topped out, marking the project entering a new stage of construction and laying a solid foundation for the realization of key milestones.

This project is a key provincial project under construction, located on the west side of Industrial Road in Dongqiao Industrial Concentration Zone and the south side of Hexian Road, with a total investment of 2.445 billion yuan. It is divided into three phases of construction. The first phase mainly constructs two CD workshops and supporting facilities, while also building 4 lithium-ion battery positive electrode material production lines in Workshop C. The second phase mainly builds 4 production lines in Workshop C, and the third phase mainly builds 8 production lines in Workshop D, with an expected completion date of August 2026. It is estimated that the project can produce 70,000 tons of lithium-ion positive electrode materials annually after completion and production.
