Le 1er octobre, le gouvernement sud-coréen a annoncé des mesures pour accélérer les autorisations du projet de Hyundai Motor, d’environ 4 000 milliards de wons, visant à convertir les installations existantes d’Ulsan en usines axées sur les véhicules électriques. Le projet couvre l’usine 1 d’Ulsan et la ligne 2 de l’usine 4. Les évaluations environnementales, de circulation et de risques de catastrophe seront menées parallèlement aux autorisations, avec l’appui d’un chef de projet dédié. Le gouvernement vise à réduire les procédures administratives de plus de trois ans à moins d’un an. Cette mesure soutient un investissement d’entreprise existant plutôt que d’accorder une nouvelle subvention publique.
