On November 19th, with the slow rotation of the last wind turbine blade, the New Energy Hunan Branch Songbai Phase II 70MW wind power project achieved full capacity grid-connected power generation.
The project is located in Jiangyong County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, and is the first wind power project started and constructed by the group company in the "14th Five-Year Plan" in Hunan Province. The total installed capacity is 70MW, with a total of 14 units of 5MW wind turbines installed, including 12 units with 110-meter steel towers and 2 units with 160-meter hybrid towers, making it the first hybrid tower project in Hunan Province.
After the full capacity grid connection of the 70MW Songbai Phase II project, it can provide approximately 240 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy for the local area each year, equivalent to saving about 72,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 195,000 tons. It has significant ecological and economic benefits and is of great significance in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation in the Hunan region.
