Xiamen: Expand bulk consumption such as automobiles and encourage marketable new energy vehicle models to go to the countryside

The Xiamen Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the “Notice On Publicly Soliciting Opinions Of Xiamen City On Several Measures To Further Stabilize Growth And Promote High-Quality Economic Development” on August 29. It is proposed to expand large-scale consumption such as automobiles and home appliances. We will provide incentives to companies whose retail sales growth reaches certain conditions. And we also will encourage marketable new energy vehicle models to go to rural areas so as to expand the market and enrich the supply of NVE in rural areas. We will also strengthen the construction of charging facilities in key areas such as public service venues, social public parking lots, residential areas, highways, scenic spots, and rural areas. Finally, we will strictly implement the national policy of fully lifting restrictions on the relocation of second-hand cars, facilitate second-hand car transactions, and activate the second-hand car market.
