Operating Rates Of Licensed Secondary Lead Smelters Fell In Four Regions

The operating rates of licensed secondary lead smelters across Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Inner Mongolia averaged 45.14% last week, down 2.24 percentage points from the prior week. Last week, the production of smelters in Anhui changed a lot as some smelters reduced production due to equipment failures or tight supply of raw materials.

The production of smelters in Jiangsu changed little. There was no major change in output at smelters in Henan, with low access to raw materials. Some smelters in Inner Mongolia have just resumed production, and their output was still gradually recovering. In addition, some smelters in Hubei, Jiangxi, and Guangdong resumed production. The daily output of Tianshuo Refined Lead, a newly built large-scale secondary lead smelter in Anhui, gradually stabilised.
