China's New Ship Orders In May Rank First In The World

According to data released by Clarkson, a British shipbuilding and shipping industry analysis agency, last month, global ship orders were 2.06 million corrected gross tons (CGT), a year-on-year decrease of 36%.

SHANGHAI, Jun 8 (SMM) – According to data released by Clarkson, a British shipbuilding and shipping industry analysis agency, last month, global ship orders were 2.06 million corrected gross tons (CGT), a year-on-year decrease of 36%.

China ranked first with 1.41 million CGT, and South Korea ranked second with 510,000 CGT.

In terms of the number of ships, South Korea and China respectively undertook 17 and 52 orders, and there is a big gap between the two.

[SMM Steel] Les prix de l'acier indien restent fermes, les ajustements de l'offre soutenant les bobines laminées à chaud (HRC) et les produits longs

[Inde] Les prix de l’acier indiens ont progressé, l’indice national des ferrailles augmentant de 2 USD/tonne (200 INR/tonne) en variation journalière. À Mandi Gobindgarh, la billette a progressé de 3 USD/tonne (250 INR/tonne) pour atteindre 445 USD/tonne (42 500 INR/tonne), tandis que le rond à béton de 12 mm a progressé de 3 USD/tonne (300 INR/tonne) pour atteindre 495 USD/tonne (47 200 INR/tonne). À Raipur, la billette a atteint 404 USD/tonne (38 600 INR/tonne), tandis que le rond à béton a atteint 425 USD/tonne (40 600 INR/tonne). Les prix nationaux des bobines laminées à chaud ont également augmenté d’environ 1 à 8 USD/tonne (100 à 800 INR/tonne) en variation hebdomadaire, soutenus par des ajustements de l’offre chez les principaux producteurs.
