Belarus plans to abandon the use of the US dollar and the euro in trade settlements with other countries in the Eurasian Economic Union by the end of 2023, First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Snapkou said in a speech to parliament on May 24. The current share of the dollar and the euro in the trade settlement of Belarus with these trading partners is about 8%.
