The Ministry of Finance data show that in January-March, the total business income of state-owned enterprises was 19.76 trillion yuan, up 6.4% year-on-year; total profits of state-owned enterprises stood at 1.12 trillion yuan, up 12.4% year-on-year; taxes and fees payable by state-owned enterprises was 1.6 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.3% year-on-year.
