SHANGHAI, Apr 21 (SMM) – The raw material inventory/output ratio of copper pipe enterprises was 5.05% in March, down 0.99 percentage point from the previous month.
Order growth in March exceeded expectations, accelerating destocking of raw material inventory. Although copper prices plummeted in mid-March, copper pipe factories did not overstock raw materials.
This, combined with higher output, caused the ratio of raw material inventory to total production to slide further.
