Operating Rates across Smelters of Secondary Lead in Four Provinces Dropped

The operating rates across smelters of secondary lead in four provinces (Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou) averaged 44.53% last week, down 1.31 percentage points from the previous week. The total output of secondary lead last week was about 54,900 mt, a decrease of 2,700 mt compared with the prior week. Anhui Huabo has undertaken maintenance, and the output has decreased considerably, while Jiangxi Xinya has also stopped production, whose overhaul is expected to last for more than half a year. Two smelting enterprises in Henan slightly reduced production within the week. Anhui Tianchang gradually returned to normal production after the equipment maintenance was completed, and Inner Mongolia Senrun also resumed production after the overhaul, growing production slightly. This week, Shandong Zhongqing will end the maintenance and resume production, and most of the other enterprises will maintain stable production.
