SHANGHAI, Mar 23 (SMM) – Although copper cathode stocks in China's bonded warehouses remain low, its growth rate is "amazing”.
The growth of copper cathode inventories in China's bonded warehouses was partly driven by arrivals of seaborne copper and partly contributed by exports from Chinese smelters. According to SMM's survey, the amount of copper cathode already exported by Chinese smelters and planned to be exported has reached about 100,000 mt in the first quarter of 2023, which is conducive to drive down domestic stocks in March.
