Operating Rate across Lead-Acid Battery Producers in Four Provinces Rose Last Week

SHANGHAI, Mar 21 (SMM) - The average operating rate across lead-acid battery producers in four provinces increased 0.93 percentage point to 44.38% last week (March 11-17). The average operating rate changed little last week. A smelting company in Anhui returned to full production last week after two-day maintenance, driving a slight increase in the operating rate. The secondary lead output of enterprises in the sample was 57,300 mt, a slight increase of some 1,000 mt compared with the previous week. The production of most secondary lead enterprises remained stable during the week, and the output did not change much.
