SHANGHAI, Mar 9 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 11.29 million mt as of Thursday March 9, down 546,000 mt or 4.6% from a week ago, and down 6.2% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 8.08 million mt, down 212,200 mt or 2.56% on the week, and a drop of 10.2% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 3.21 million mt, down 333,800 mt or 9.4% on the week, and up 5.5% on the year.
