Exports of HRC in Feb Increase amid High Profits

SHANGHAI, Feb 9 (SMM) - According to SMM research, the exports of HRC in February stand at 875,000 mt, which are 354,000 mt or 67.95% higher than the actual exports of last month. According to SMM research, since January, a number of steel mills reported that in light of rising overseas steel prices, the export window is open and domestic steel mills are active in export. Export orders of some steel mills can last until March. According to SMM research, the shipping schedule is mostly concentrated in March-April and thus the export volume of steel mills is expected to increase rapidly in the next two months.
