[Tianci material reported 3.142 billion revenue from lithium materials business continuously issued a number of announcements to expand production of lithium hexafluorophosphate, etc.] in the first half of the year, total operating income was 3.699 billion yuan, an increase of 132.27% over the same period last year, and the net profit belonging to the shareholders of the parent company was 783 million yuan, an increase of 151.13% over the same period last year. Basic earnings per share is 0.84 yuan.

Thanks to the favorable stimulation of "carbon peak and carbon neutralization" and the superimposed influence of overseas new energy vehicle policy, the demand of downstream new energy industry continues to be strong, and the electrolyte production of Tianci material (002709) has achieved rapid growth compared with the same period last year. At the same time, in view of the tight supply of key raw materials upstream, the cost continues to rise, driving up the price of electrolyte to a certain extent.

The revenue of lithium materials business in the first half of the year is 3.142 billion yuan.

On the evening of August 23, Tianci released its semi-annual report for 2021. The company's total operating income in the first half of the year was 3.699 billion yuan, an increase of 132.27% over the same period last year. The net profit of shareholders belonging to the parent company was 783 million yuan, up 151.13% from the same period last year. Basic earnings per share was 0.84 yuan.

Among them, the business of Tianci Li-ion battery materials includes electrolytes and related basic chemicals, cathode materials and cathode basic materials. The operating income in the first half of the year reached 3.142 billion yuan, an increase of 282.06% over the same period last year. The company said that the growth in the business performance of lithium-ion battery materials was mainly due to a large increase in the volume and price of electrolyte products, while sales of cathode materials also increased to a certain extent.

According to the semi-annual report, under the background of limited raw material supply, Tianci made every effort to increase product supply, and continuously improved its product research and development strength, manufacturing strength and customer service capacity by signing long-term supply agreements with strategic customers such as Ningde era and LG, achieving steady growth in performance, while further consolidating the company's core competitiveness and future market share through capacity expansion of major raw materials and products.

In addition, Tianci material is expected to make a profit of 1.4 billion yuan to 1.6 billion yuan in the first three quarters, an increase of 170.08% to 208.66% over the same period last year, and a net profit of 620 million yuan to 820 million yuan in the third quarter, an increase of 198.65% and 295.40% over the same period last year. The company said that the main reason is the strong market demand for lithium-ion battery material electrolyte products, a large increase in sales and prices, and an increase in the self-yield of raw materials and gross profit margin.

A number of announcements have been issued to expand the production of lithium electric materials.

While the performance was good, on the same day, Tianci issued a number of investment announcements one after another, among which the announcements related to battery new energy were as follows: Jiujiang Tianji, a subsidiary, planned to invest 1.56 billion yuan to build a project with an annual output of 95000 tons of lithium basic materials and 100000 tons of dichloropropanol, and planned to invest 1.403 billion yuan to build a project with an annual production capacity of 200000 tons of lithium materials. It is proposed that through the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary to invest 551 million yuan in the construction of waste lithium battery recycling project, and 197 million yuan to increase the capital of the wholly-owned subsidiary, Nantong Tianzhi plans to invest 1.77 billion yuan to build an annual output of 350000 tons of lithium electricity and fluorine-containing new materials project (phase I).

Specifically, the total investment of the project with an annual output of 95000 tons of lithium basic materials and 100000 tons of dichloropropanol is 1.56 billion yuan, of which the construction investment is 993 million yuan and the working capital for laying the bottom is 565 million yuan; the product scale will be as follows: lithium difluorosulfonimide 30, 000 t, lithium difluorodioxalate phosphate 10, 000 t, lithium difluorophosphate 5000t/a, dichloropropanol 100000 t

The total investment of the project with an annual output of 200000 tons of lithium materials is 1.403 billion yuan, of which the construction investment is 938 million yuan and the working capital for laying the bottom is 464 million yuan. The production line with a product scale of liquid lithium hexafluorophosphate 200000 t hand a will be formed.

The total investment of the waste lithium battery recycling project is 551 million yuan, of which the construction investment is 497 million yuan and the bottom liquidity is 54.7703 million yuan; the product scale will be high purity lithium carbonate 27200 t a, battery grade iron phosphate 17600 t a, nickel cobalt manganese sulfate 7600t/a.

The project with an annual output of 350000 tons of lithium electricity and fluorine-containing new materials (the first phase) has a total investment of 1.77 billion yuan, a construction investment of 1.07 billion yuan, and a working capital of 690 million yuan; the product scale will be 200000 t of lithium battery electrolyte, 20 000 t of difluorosulfonimide lithium, and ethylene sulfate 6000t/a.

Through the implementation of the above projects, Tianzhi Materials will effectively improve the overall production capacity of lithium-ion battery electrolytes and electrolyte materials, and meet the demand for future production capacity formed by the growth of the power battery electrolyte market. at the same time, improve the regional layout of the company's core products, enhance the security of the supply chain and regional service capacity. Further enhance the market competitiveness of the company's lithium-ion battery materials and support the strategic layout advantage of the company's integration.
