Some investors asked on the investor interactive platform how to deal with the brine after the company extracted lithium because of the fragile ecological environment in Qinghai and Tibet. Will it cause pollution to the environment?

Salt Lake shares (000792.SZ) said that the company's lithium brine returned to the mining area for solid-liquid conversion to dissolve solid magnesium, lithium and potassium ores. The company comprehensively practices the green development concept of "doing a good job in resource development under the premise of ecological protection", and continues to promote the industrialization process of comprehensive development and utilization of salt lake resources, starting from a drop of brine. we will actively promote the cascade development of salt lake resources such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, lithium and boron and the comprehensive utilization with chlorine balance as the core, improve the ecology of salt lakes at the same time, do a good job in resource protection, and create a green circular economic ecological circle of salt lakes.

On June 1, Wanrun New Energy issued an announcement stating that it plans to sign a supplementary agreement on asset repurchase with Hubei Shiyan Haoshuo New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. This agreement will adjust the repurchase period, amount, and payment method for assets related to its annual 100,000-ton battery cathode material project, aiming to optimize project financing costs through bank replacement financing. The asset delivery for this project was completed in May 2024. Based on a comprehensive evaluation conducted by Kunyuan Asset Appraisal Co., Ltd., the total value of the project's assets is approximately 1.076 billion yuan. As of now, Wanrun New Energy has paid 360 million yuan in repurchase investment, with an outstanding balance of approximately 716 million yuan.
