Stocks of copper in Shanghai bonded areas decreased for four consecutive weeks on smaller arrivals.

SHANGHAI, Dec 18 (SMM) — Stocks of copper in Shanghai bonded areas decreased for four consecutive weeks on smaller arrivals.

SMM data showed that the stocks fell 4,400 mt from the prior week to 347,000 mt as of Friday December 18.

Some ships were difficult to dock recently due to strengthening quarantine  on inbound ships by the customs, and the efficiency of port was low, leading to a further decline in inventories.
