Recently, MetalsXLimited released its third-quarter financial report that its third-quarter output was a record 2326 tons of tin concentrate (1733 tons in the previous quarter), mainly due to higher mine grade, which reached 1.58% tin (1.19% tin in the previous quarter) and has made progress towards high-grade development in the fifth area. With the realization of the metallurgical improvement plan and higher-grade feed, the recovery rate of tin increased by 75.3% (compared with 71.3% in the previous quarter).

In terms of tin business, the output of concentrated tin reached 2326 tons, a record high. The maintenance cost (AISC) is US $16293 per tonne of tin (actual tin price, US $22312 per tonne after deducting smelter costs). Production in the third quarter was a record 2326 tons of tin concentrate (1733 tons in the previous quarter), mainly due to higher mine grade, reaching 1.58% tin (1.19% tin in the previous quarter), and progress has been made in zone 5 towards high grade development. With the realization of metallurgical improvement plans and higher-grade feeds, tin recovery increased by 75.3% (compared with 71.3% in the previous quarter).

The performance in September was particularly encouraging, with tin production hitting an all-time high, the second highest since Rennison (Renison) resumed in 2008. During the quarter, 9215 meters of underground drilling was completed, mainly for grade control in HuonNorth and Leatherwood5 areas. The production and cost guidance for fiscal year 2021 remained unchanged at 8200, 000, 700 tons of tin in concentrate and $19000-20000 per ton of tin in AISC.
