[SMM announcement] SMM1# tin mining standard enterprise change

Dear SMM tin industry customers:

After the development of China's tin industry chain in recent years, the enterprises in the industry have shut down, changed, updated and developed. In order to keep up with the market and better serve the customers of the industry chain, according to the SMM1# tin price methodology and after a period of market research, some new enterprises have been added to adopt the standard.

Tin ingots: meet the "Sn99.90A" brand requirements of GB/T 728mur2010. For specific brands and specifications, please refer to the attachment: national standard "GB/T 728mur2010 tin ingots". The spot price of SMM1# tin (hereinafter referred to as tin ingot) is an indicative price formed and issued by SMM according to this methodology and can be used by both parties as a reference basis for the settlement of spot trade in tin ingots. The price reflects the indicative range of the spot price of SMM tin ingots that is most likely to be traded when the spot price of tin ingots is released on each full working day. The price is mainly based on the spot transaction price situation in Shanghai and other regions on the same day, deducting relevant expenses in transportation, capital occupation cost and other related trade expenses. Other regions can adjust the actual settlement price at the time of transaction according to the market correlation between different regions on the basis of this price.
