At a regular Foreign Ministry press conference on the 8th, a reporter also asked about the latest progress in China's establishment of a "list of unreliable entities." spokesman Geng Shuang responded: the "list of unreliable entities" system is performing internal procedures and will be released in the near future.

SMM10, Oct. 9 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-on October 7, the US Department of Commerce issued a notice adding eight Chinese enterprises, including the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region Public Security Department and its 18 subordinate agencies, the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps Public Security Bureau and Haikang Weiwei, to the list of export control entities. In response, spokesmen for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce have responded one after another.

At a regular Foreign Ministry press conference on the 8th, a reporter also asked about the latest progress in China's establishment of a "list of unreliable entities." spokesman Geng Shuang responded: the "list of unreliable entities" system is performing internal procedures and will be released in the near future.

China's Ministry of Commerce stated late at night that it will take all necessary measures to safeguard its own interests

At 23:00 on October 8, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce responded to "sanctions imposed by the US Department of Commerce on October 7, when 28 Chinese entities were added to the list of entities under export control."

A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said: we note that the US Department of Commerce has added 28 Chinese entities to the export control "entity list" and will continue to monitor the situation. For a long time, the US side has frequently imposed unilateral sanctions on Chinese entities in accordance with its domestic law, and this time, under the guise of human rights, 28 Chinese local government agencies and Chinese enterprises have been included in the "list of entities" to impose sanctions, and take the opportunity to slander China's policy of governing Xinjiang and rudely interfere in China's internal affairs. China expresses its strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to this.

Xinjiang affairs are purely China's internal affairs and have a bearing on China's sovereignty, security and territorial integrity. On the issue of involvement in Xinjiang, the Chinese Government and the Chinese people have the most say and will not allow any state or external forces to interfere. Facts have proved that a series of policies and measures to govern Xinjiang have won the support of the people of all ethnic groups and have achieved remarkable results. At present, Xinjiang has a good momentum of economic development, all ethnic groups live in harmony, social stability, there has been no terrorist attack for three years, which is obvious to all.

We strongly urge the US side to immediately stop gossiping on the Xinjiang issue, stop interfering in China's internal affairs, and remove the relevant Chinese entities from the "list of entities" as soon as possible. China will also take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard China's own interests.

Chinese Foreign Ministry: Xinjiang is just a deliberate excuse made by the United States

At a regular foreign ministry press conference on 8 October, a reporter mentioned the issue of "the US Department of Commerce has added 28 Chinese entities to the export control 'entity list'. Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said: under the pretext of the so-called human rights issue, the United States will include the Public Security Bureau of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region, the Public Security Bureau of the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, and eight Chinese enterprises on the list of export control entities and impose export restrictions. This act seriously violates the basic norms of international relations, interferes in China's internal affairs, and harms China's interests. The Chinese side expresses its strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to this.

It must be pointed out that Xinjiang affairs are purely China's internal affairs and no country has the right to interfere. There is no so-called human rights issue alleged by the US side in Xinjiang, and the relevant accusations are only a deliberate excuse created by the US side to interfere in China's internal affairs.

The anti-terrorism and de-radicalization measures taken in Xinjiang are aimed at preventing the breeding of extremism and terrorism from the source and are fully in line with Chinese law and international practice. These measures have been widely supported by 25 million people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and have also made positive contributions to the cause of international counter-terrorism. The US accusations against China are completely subverting black and white and nonsense, and can only further expose its sinister intentions of interfering with Xinjiang's anti-terrorism efforts and obstructing China's stable development.

We urge the US side to immediately correct its mistakes, rescind the relevant decisions, and stop interfering in China's internal affairs. China will continue to take firm and effective measures to resolutely safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests.

Subsequently, a reporter asked: "can you inform the Chinese side of the establishment of the 'list of unreliable entities' system of the latest situation?"

Geng Shuang said: with regard to the "list of unreliable entities", a spokesman for China's Ministry of Commerce recently introduced that the "list of unreliable entities" system is currently performing internal procedures and will be released in the near future. I suggest you ask the Ministry of Commerce for details.
