Major Car Makers Eyeing EV Mass Production

SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (SMM) – Major car makers, including BMW, JLR and Ford, have set their eyes on electric vehicles (EV).

BMW is making preparations for massive production of EVs before 2020 and plans to introduce 25 EV models before 2025, including 12 pure EV models. 

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) announced all of its new cars will be electric ones by 2020.

Ford’s Lincoln plans not to introduce fuel cars from 2022.
