Calcined coke prices keep rising as environmental checks have left the raw material in shortage. This has sent ripple effects to prebaked anode prices.
China Aluminum Stocks Refresh Nearly 10-Year High, SMM Says
Weiqiao Group is still negotiating with prebaked anode suppliers over prices for delivery in September. The price will probably be set at 420 yuan/tonne, much higher than 200 yuan/tonne market had previously expected.
