LME Copper to Strengthen (2017-6-28)

London BTC Company Limited (LSE:BTC, OTCQB:VINZF) announced on 5 October 2026 initial on-site pXRF results from its Black Star gold-critical minerals project in Pershing County, Nevada. A maiden programme collected 69 rock-chip samples along a 2.5km corridor between the Western and Eastern targets. pXRF readings showed antimony up to 0.44% Sb, copper up to 30.0% Cu, bismuth up to 0.73% Bi and silver up to 811 ppm Ag, with the antimony-copper association appearing at both ends of the corridor. The signature mirrors a historical 1985 sample 120m south of the claims (>1% Sb, 2% Cu, 700 ppm Ag). Earlier due-diligence sampling returned up to 16.23 g/t gold and 50.5 g/t silver. Samples are now with MSALABS for laboratory assays, with full multi-element geochemistry including antimony, tungsten and copper to follow. Copper, as a by-product credit, adds strategic appeal under US critical-minerals policy, though results remain preliminary field readings.

Kantra Copper (ASX : KAN) publie les résultats du forage au diamant de la veine Nugent à la mine de cuivre de Kanmantoo : la minéralisation s'étend 70 mètres plus bas que la limite du modèle de ressources 2025 et se situe à 370 mètres du niveau d'exploitation actuel. Le forage principal 26KVUG0949 a recoupé 70 mètres de minéralisation à partir de 507 mètres (1,18 % de cuivre, 0,24 g/t d'or), dont une section de 38 mètres titrant 1,46 % de cuivre et 0,18 g/t d'or. Nugent est située sur la bordure sud-ouest du gisement, avec des teneurs en or plus élevées. À fin août, la société avait réalisé 38 535 mètres de forage au diamant au cours de l'année (dont 12 024 mètres à Nugent) ; la mise à jour des ressources 2026, intégrant environ 80 000 mètres de forage, devrait être publiée fin octobre. Kanmantoo est une mine en production : au trimestre de juin, elle a produit 3 170 tonnes de cuivre, avec une prévision de 12 750 à 14 000 tonnes de cuivre pour 2026 ; l'extension en profondeur peut s'appuyer sur les galeries existantes pour accroître les ressources à faible intensité capitalistique.
