SHANGHAI, Jul. 19 (SMM) - Henan Province found 141 large and medium mineral deposits over the past five years with investment totaling over 7 billion yuan, according to zyjjw.cn.
About 45.7 billion tonnes of coal and over 1 billion tonnes of bauxite were discovered, with additional 1.6 billion tonnes of iron ore also found.
The province also made breakthroughs in exploration of gold, silver, lead, zinc and molybdenum polymetallic ores. 14 large and medium gold mines were discovered, adding 350 tonnes of gold reserves.
