SHFE Copper Ends Lower (Jun. 7, 2016)

SHANGHAI, Jun. 7 (SMM) – SHFE 1608 copper started lower at RMB 36,150/mt overnight and once grew to RMB 36,300/mt. The red metal later sank to RMB 36,00/mt before closing the session at RMB 36,060/mt, down RMB 30/mt. Positions were down 1,492.

SHFE 1608 copper opened at RMB 36,120/mt on Tuesday and dipped to RMB 35,800/mt, to end at RMB 35,840/mt, falling RMB 240/mt or 0.67%. Positions were down10,794. Positions of all SHFE copper contracts were down 11,862 to 755,000 with trading volumes at 440,000 lots.
