On Friday, short covering allowed SHFE 1609 tin to rise after starting at RMB 107,100/mt, but met resistance at the 5-day moving average. Finally, the most active contract ended up RMB 420/mt or 0.39% from previous trading day at RMB 107,150/mt. Trading volumes were down 7,258 lots to 15,350 lots, and positions were down 382 to 12,250.
