SHANGHAI, Mar. 29 (SMM) – Camel Group South China Storage Battery Co. aims to build a lead-acid battery production, sales and recycle industry chain, according to www.gx.xinhuanet.com.
For this, the company will begin constructing a 150,000-tpy scrap battery recycle project this year and the project is schedule to run a trial production at the end of 2016. The company also planned to expand its capacity to 6 million kwh through technical upgrade.
The company had an annual capacity of 3.5 million kwh last year after commissioning its first phase of scrap lead-acid battery recycle project and achieved 480 million yuan ($ 73.8 million) in sales revenues with tax revenues of 21 million yuan.
