SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,360/mt on Thursday evening and closed at RMB 14,395/mt, up RMB 100/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,360/mt on Thursday evening and closed at RMB 14,395/mt, up RMB 100/mt. Both trading volumes and positions grew.

SHFE 1605 zinc followed a V curve today, slipping to RMB 14,350/mt at one point, and closed at RMB 14,420/mt today, up RMB 135/mt. Trading volumes grew 101,000 to 496,000 lots, with positions increased 24,000 to 197,000. Total positions on SHFE 1605 zinc grew were 41,000.
