SHANGHAI, Aug. 24 (SMM) – SMM #1 nickel prices were between RMB 79,500-80,300/mt. Discounts of Jinchuan nickel against the most actively traded contracts on the Wuxi electronic trading were RMB 100/mt in the morning. Downstream buyers were reticent, with traded prices between RMB 79,600-80,000/mt. Purchases muted in the afternoon, with traded prices between RMB 79,400-79,800/mt in the afternoon. Jinchuan Group lowered price by RMB 300/mt to RMB 80,000/mt last Friday.
